Who Are We?

KEL'GYU

KEL’GYU is the main supplier and distributor of premium wagyu beef from Malaysia own locally bred and raised wagyu cows.

We strive to offer halal and quality wagyu beef FRESH from our local farms to allow our customers to enjoy healthier and tastier steak, yakiniku, shabu-shabu or other retail cuts that suits you.

Whether you’re wholesaler, retailer, service provider or individuals; we shall be delighted to serve you. 

Slaughter Process

Halal slaughter involves one pass of the blade across the throat of the animal, severing the carotid arteries, jugular vein and trachea.

Aging Process

The cow will be transferred directly to the cool room for the edging process. The "aging" process takes 21-28 days, to give softness to the meat and refresh the meat.

Debone Process

The deboning process involves cutting meat away from the bone using traditional knives or Whizzard knives, trimming & cleaning with traditional blade knives or scissors.

Chiller Storage

Cold room (also called a cool room, chiller room) is a walk-in storage facility in a controlled condition to keep a consistent temperature between 2 degree celsius to 12 degree celsius

In order to have long term sustainable supply and distribution of wagyu beef locally and internationally, KEL’GYU has established our own breeding program equipped with lab facilities and Embryo Transfer Technology. The facility enables us to breed and raise wagyu cows in higher numbers at our local farms.

Through a joint venture with Cooperative, the program is also extended to support local farmers interested in raising wagyu cows as part of their cattle farming alternative. Eligible farmers shall be supported with wagyu breed, food supplies, farm facilities and technical as well as operational expertise throughout the program.

Our goal is to establish Malaysia as alternative source country for quality and halal wagyu with inclusion program supported by local agencies and farmers.
